No One Transitions Alone. In this seminar, we will address the challenges parents and families encounter when managing Gender Diverse & Transgender Adolescents & Young Adults.
The Neurobiology, Physiology & Genetics of Gender Identity
In this seminar, we will be reviewing the Neurobiology and the established Medical & Scientific Information which has been developed in recent years in regards to the effects of Hormonal Anomalies taking place during Fetal Development along with the impact Variant Genes on the development of the brain while the Fetus in is utero and how the brain can develop a Self-Attributed Gender Identity which is incongruent with the child’s sex assigned at birth.
Counseling Adults 30 to 70+ in Transition
This seminar will focus on the challenges that adults, ages 30 to 70, will encounter when confronted with a gender identity which is incongruence with their sex assigned at birth, their acceptance of an attributed gender and their pursuit of gender affirmation. No one transitions alone, especially adults in transition.

Pediatric Transgender / Gender Diverse Individuals
In this seminar, we address Minority stress and the impact on acceptance. Behavioral health considerations. Autism spectrum and gender dysphoria. Suicide prevention. Patient centered care in behavioral health settings. Primary healthcare. Mood, anxiety, depression and mental health concerns. Caring for youth with co-occurring neurodiversity. Treatment paradigms for prepubescent children. Treatment paradigms for adolescents and gender affirming care.
Health Disparities with Gender & Sexual Minorities
In this seminar, we address the Current state of gender and sexual minority (GSM) health. Socio-cultural and systemic barriers to GSM healthcare. GSM health disparities and their specific health risks. Obesity within GSM groups. Chronic illnesses and conditions in GSM individuals. Behavioral healthcare concerns for GSM populations. GSM substance use and abuse.
Behavioral Health Considerations for Gender Diverse & Transgender individuals
In this seminar, we address Childhood gender diversity. Adolescence and declared gender. Adolescence and anxiety or depression, along with issues of risk and resilience. Adolescent or adult, questioning their intent for gender affirmation. Transgender narrative. Gender minority stress and substance abuse. Suicide, suicidal ideation and depression.
Primary Health & Medical Care for Gender Diverse & Transgender individuals
In this seminar, we address the importance and the role of the Primary Care Family Physician with the delivery of current and ongoing health and medical care. Transgender health and medicine and the importance of the medical and behavioral healthcare professional’s gender affirming care in the evolution of the individual’s self-attributed gender and the pursuit of gender affirmation.
